Their artistic creation is set in "a village that never was".\nReferring to an old myth of the Baltic Sea freezing over winter\, they find inspiration in both Polish and Scandinavian musical traditions. With archaic instruments found in these lands\, in their theatrical manner\, the band interweaves the melodies of melancholic longing and frenetic trance-like dances. Daj Ognia's original compositions bring back the fiery raves of bygone days.\n\nFor this years' Medieval Week on Gotland\, they will come from Krakow not only to perform on stage and offstage along the island\, but also to teach you some traditional folk dances and songs.
