The programme ranges from Gershwin’s *Summertime* and Piazzolla’s *Buenos Aires* to Hugo Alfvén’s *The Herdmaiden’s Dance*. The evening continues with Stravinsky’s *The Firebird* and concludes with Ravel’s *Boléro*\, as the music gradually builds to a powerful crescendo. The concert also marks Andrés Orozco-Estrada’s first appearance as Chief Conductor of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
