You will learn and practice public speaking in a friendly and comfortable English-speaking atmosphere with members who are there for the same reason you are — to become better communicators\, at the same time have fun doing it! Guests are welcome to observe or join in on the impromptu part of the meeting.\n\n**HOW DOES IT WORK?**\n\nA toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.\n\nIn the first part of the meeting\, you will listen to the prepared speeches by members. This is followed by a coffee break and the second part includes impromptu talks on assigned topics (unprepared/spontaneous speeches that even you as a guest can volunteer to participate in!). You do not need to prepare anything for the meeting.\n\nThere is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead\, members evaluate one another’s presentations.
