We coordinate via our Facebook group.\nWe use Meetup specifically to welcome new faces like you\, so there will always be a friendly group waiting to play!\n\n**What is Korfball?**\nKorfball is a dynamic\, fast-paced team sport originally inspired by Swedish "ringboll." It’s often described as a mix between basketball and netball\, but with a unique twist: it is the world's only dedicated mixed-gender team sport.\n\n***Gender-Equal: **\nTeams consist of 2 men and 2 women.\n\n** *True Teamwork: **\nYou can’t dribble or run with the ball—you have to pass to move!\n\n*** All-Around Skills: **\nEvery two goals\, attackers and defenders switch roles\, so everyone gets to shoot and defend.\n\n** *Non-Contact: **\nIt’s a tactical game focused on speed\, positioning\, and cooperation.\n\n**Who can join?**\nEveryone! Whether you are a total beginner who has never heard of a "korf" or an experienced athlete looking for a new challenge\, you are welcome.
