Professor Sara Hsu is an economist specializing in fintech, financial innovation, digital currencies, and the Chinese economy. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business, and has conducted extensive research on China's financial system, financial inclusion, and the impact of technology on financial services.

Professor Hsu has authored and edited several books on Chinese finance, economic development, and financial innovation, including *China's Fintech Explosion: Disruption, Innovation, and Survival*, a book examining the rapid development of China's fintech ecosystem, its regulatory evolution, and its global implications. Her research has been widely published in leading academic journals, and she is a frequent commentator on Chinese economic policy and digital finance for major international media outlets.
