When the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra comes to Gustav Adolfs Torg, an evening of music awaits, spanning different eras and worlds. The programme ranges from Gershwin’s *Summertime* and Piazzolla’s *Buenos Aires* to Hugo Alfvén’s *The Herdmaiden’s Dance*. The evening continues with Stravinsky’s *The Firebird* and concludes with Ravel’s *Boléro*, as the music gradually builds to a powerful crescendo. The concert also marks Andrés Orozco-Estrada’s first appearance as Chief Conductor of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Trumpeter Ellinor Bengtson performs as soloist.
